When we dare to penetrate the underworld of noise, we must be properly prepared to face demons that pull us into the abyss, where we will be confronted with the disturbing cruelty that exists in this filthy world and where human ignorance and social stupidity prevail. Recently I was confronted with the morbid filth of Perturbação Pura, a band from the Brazilian underworld that stands out for affirming a self-destructive noise, where there is no need to please anyone and that few will love and many will hate, however it is in its genuine and pure essence that we can find a true essence ready to annihilate everything and everyone who thinks that noise is something beautiful and pleasant, do not fool yourselves because beautiful and pleasant noise simply does not exist.
For those who can relate to the true essence of destructive noise and who have no qualms about exposing a cruel and sickening reality without the slightest need to please anyone, I suggest you waste some time of your insignificant existence listening to the rot presented by Perturbação Pura. I doubt many of you will be able to listen for more than five seconds, but those who survive can also read the following interview, where I had the honor of interviewing Bruno Suicidio, which will reveal a little more about the activities unbecoming of despicable humans that Perturbação Pura represents. Be miserable and protest against everything in this lost world.
MORBID NOISE'N'ROLL SELF DESTRUCTIVE!!!
C.N. - HELL-o brother of the cadaveric underworld Bruno Suicido, first of all, I would like to give good cheers to PERTURBAÇÃO PURA, the filthy Cadaveric Noiseletter. To start the hostilities of this interview, I would like to ask you to talk to us and introduce your band.
P.P. - Perturbação Pura is a punk band heavily influenced by Thrash, Heavy, Death, Crust, and Rock 'n' Roll from Paulínia, in the countryside of São Paulo, Brazil. Our lyrics portray human disgrace and cruelty, reflecting on death and mortality, questioning existence, and opposing all forms of prejudice. Our sound is meant to be disturbing and visceral, not to please anyone, all in the name of true rock 'n' roll.
C.N. - Although I know that you are looking for a new bass player who needs to be properly disturbed and have a pure attitude so that he can fit into the band's lineup, I would like you to introduce us to the band's current lineup.
P.P. - Yes, the band is currently a power trio. Without a bassist, we lost our drummer, and our former bassist took over on drums.
Bruno Suicídio (Vocals), Bruno Maconheiro (Drums and Bass), and Matheus Satanás (Guitar).
C.N. - Let's talk a little more about the visceral sound of PERTURBAÇÃO PURA, which is influenced by dirty and despicable Rock 'N' Roll, encompassing everything from Heavy Metal to Grindcore, where everything can be summed up as pure musical chaos. How would you define the sound presented by PERTURBAÇÃO PURA?
P.P. - Exactly as you said, we have many influences, from blues to extreme metal, jazz, and other genres. The band loves music, and we listen to all kinds of bands, which naturally shape our musical influences and our lives. Perturbação Pura has a unique and pure sound. We express ourselves and take people out of their comfort zone; some hate us, and others understand us.
C.N. - Now addressing social cruelty and human misfortune, which is reflected in the themes addressed in the message that the band intends to convey, I would like to ask you to reveal a little more about the decadence vomited in your lyrics?
P.P. - Life is brutal, and humanity is pure hatred, finding pleasure in pain. Our lyrics reflect social injustice, alienation, and the prejudice people spread, as well as the disasters happening in the world. We also share personal reflections on death and mortality, expressing everything we feel. Perturbação Pura stands for the minorities, the poor, and those who are denied a decent life. We speak the cruel truth of our reality, lyrics that are punk at their core.
C.N. - In 2021, you released your first album, "Anti Atenção," which features a dirty, rotten production that few will be able to hear and understand. This album was recorded in a primitive way inside a wardrobe. Tell us a little more about this album?
P.P. - We recorded this album using just our cell phones after our first guitarist left the band. We said "fuck it" and recorded bass, drums, and vocals with the original lineup. Half of the album was recorded at Bruno Maconheiro's house (our bassist/drummer), and the other half at Bruno Suicídio's place using a phone on top of a wardrobe, capturing the band's full essence. Note: If you want to hear the album in the best possible way, turn the volume up all the way! You'll feel what the band is expressing. "Anti Atenção" sounds like grindcore noise at regular volume, but if you max it out, it transforms into a rock 'n' roll / punk / thrash / heavy / crust album.
C.N. - In 2022, you returned to the sonic assault with the EP titled "Contra O Homen" and the demo titled "Demo Punk." Although these two records in your discography present a more audible production, your essence remains rotten with high levels of sonic discomfort. Could you tell us a little more about these two releases?
P.P. - These two releases were made under the effects of LSD. They are the result of combining our ideas and the desire to express everything we think and feel. "Contra o Homem" expresses everything we've seen and reflected on, in a raw and filthy way, cruel in every detail. "Demo Punk" is a snapshot of the band's early intensity. The "Contra o Homem" EP was recorded by a friend of ours; the "Demo Punk" features recovered recordings from our early days.
C.N. - "Arriscando Tudo" is your second album, released in 2024, featuring the sonic violence of dirty punk, where social misfortune remains a constant feature of your lyrics and sound. What can you tell us about this album?
P.P. - The album "Arriscando Tudo" was made in a more structured way, with strong influences of punk, heavy metal, and d-beat. Disgrace and prejudice are things that never go away, and this album tells it like it is with no filter. Life is getting more cruel, and people pretend not to see it. That makes this album a big "fuck you" to everyone.
C.N. - Although they're looking for a new bassist, I know that PERTURBATION PURA is already preparing the new album, which will be released by Murder Records. Can you reveal a little more about what we can expect from this third album?
P.P. - This third album aims for pure obscurity and hellish intensity. Extreme metal is becoming more and more present, always blended with punk influences. The album dives into an even more intense and brutal sound. The next release will bring even more musical darkness, eerie riffs, and aggressive drumming.
C.N. - The split you're preparing with DISFIGURED HUMAN MIND will also be announced soon, which, for the more sensitive and unprepared, will be a release not recommended. Would you like to talk a little more about this sonic smash, which will be announced soon by Murder Records?
P.P. - This split is meant to disturb everything and everyone. The songs will be filthy and aggressive, aiming for the sound of hell. We don't want to please anyone, fuck the posers. It's an honor for us to release this split with Desfigured Human Mind.
C.N. - We live on a cruel and increasingly aggressive planet, even though everything is offensive and provocative, where humanity victimizes itself through its own ignorance. What is your opinion about human stupidity and the social hypocrisy that surrounds us, where extremism is seen as a threat rather than a form of protest?
P.P. - People are alienated. They live in their comfort zones and fear what they don't understand. Everything that is different is seen as bad and judged. Many will hate you. Expressing yourself intensely is something most people can't process or accept, so it's often rejected by the ignorant.
C.N. - PERTURBAÇÃO PURA is a band that likes to spread chaos and cause discomfort, and even though you've been beaten up live, I think GG ALLIN would love to play with you, hahaha. Would you like to talk a little more about your stage presence and what we can expect from you playing live?
P.P. - Our live shows are meant to disturb the human mind, constantly challenging people to think beyond the conventional. Energy is a core part of our music and identity. We are dirty and violent. Many don't understand and try to shut us down, but they'll never succeed. Danger is coming back to rock 'n' roll.
C.N. - Your musical influences emerge from various styles. In your opinion, which bands do you consider relevant and that in some way inspire you in the composition of your sound?
P.P. - Our biggest influences include: GG Allin and The Murder Junkies, Pure Hell, Blasphemy, Dead Boys, The Stooges, Anal Cunt, Ratos de Porão, Sepultura, The Germs, The Doors, Motörhead, Discharge, Black Sabbath, Jimi Hendrix, and Ramones.
C.N. - Brazil is a culturally fertile land, a subterranean world from which countless bands emerge. However, only a few names—like Sarcofago, Sepultura, Vulcano, Ratos De Porão, Holocausto, Brigada Do Ódio, Olho Seco, and many others that are internationally known. Could you tell us about and introduce us to some bands originating from the Brazilian Underground that you consider relevant?
P.P. - We greatly respect and consider influential the following bands: Distúrbio Mental, Bosta Rala, Krisiun, Violator, Heia, Mystifier, Periferia S.A., Necrobutcher, The Kram, Damn Youth, and Mutilator.
C.N. - Before finishing this interview, I would like to ask you what your goals and plans are for the future of PERTURBAÇÃO PURA?
P.P. - Our goal is to spread our disturbing music and keep recording heavier and darker material, constantly releasing albums and EPs. Perturbação Pura never stops, and no one can contain us. The band is looking for a tour as soon as possible, with the hope of playing every single day until the end of our lives.
C.N. - We have reached the end of this filthy interview, and before finishing, I would like to thank you for the time you took to answer this interview to make PERTURBAÇÃO PURA a little better known. Now I intend to leave this space open so that you can declare anything you find relevant and that has not been addressed in this interview, as well as you can thank or tell whoever you want to fuck off.
P.P. - We thank Cadaveric Noiseletter for the opportunity to do this interview and Murder Records for the support. We will keep exposing all human filth and injustice, not to please, but to annihilate all in the name of true rock 'n' roll.
