Blasfemator is a band from the depths of the Greek underworld that emerged in 2018 under the name of Goatslaught.
The various reforms in its line-up due to the extreme and chaotic aspects that reflect the existence of Blasfemator, it is not easy to find inhuman creatures that can remain active for a long time with the correct attitude that Blasfemator demands in its filthy underworld, however the impure brother Necrobaphometh and founder of this insane project is not an easy demon to give up on his causes, much less to let himself be shaken by adversities that appear, keeping his essence intact and faithful to his ideals, which allows Blasfemator to remain active and inviolable.
Murder Records had the honor of recently releasing the split of Blasfemator with the Colombian band Sepulcral where we can be confronted with the high rigor that defines Blasfemator and where the sound rot perfectly reflects the luxurious perversity that is exposed explicitly and that allows us to return to the beginnings of Black Thrash in its raw and genuine essence.
In order to better understand the profane ideals that define Blasfemator in its fullness, we will watch the interview given by the maniac brother Necrobaphometh who will talk to us and reveal a little more about the filthy activities of Blasfemator in the inhuman underworld of darkness...
SATANIK THRASH BLACK RAW METAL FROM GREECE...
C.N. - Hell-o demons of the Greek underworld, first of all I want to welcome you to the catacombs of Cadaveric Noiseletter. Blasfemator emerged in 2018 under the name Goatslught, but to start this infamous interview I would like to ask you to tell us a little more about how it all began?
N. - Hails to all the maniacs who are reading this! The band was formed in 2018 as Goatslaught with two other members who left in a very short amount of time probably because they could not get along with my chaotic way of life. Nobody in that shithole city was interested into playing in a band with such extreme sound so I was searching members for about two years, until 2022 when the band was reformed with Hemophiliak Cadaverik Warmaster on the drums and Infernal Sadomator on the guitars, both of them lived in a small town right next to mine so they would come crush at my place have some necralcoholic rituals to destroy our livers for Satan and then go rehearse our first manifestations
C.N. - The blasphemous legion of darkness Blasfemator is made up of a perverse trio ready to spread sonic chaos in the underworld, now would you like us to introduce the band's diabolical line-up?
N. - Our line up changed from a power trio with the addition of a bassist but that didn't last for long. Unfortunately due to disagreements on the underground and DIY ethics two members pronounced the band dead in a ditch, but since I am still breathing so does the putrid corpse of BLASFEMATOR
C.N. - Still under the name Goatslaught, Fallen Temple released in 2021 your first demo entitled "Night of Desecration". Can you tell us a little bit more about this debut demo?
N. - I had to go through so many obstacles for this to be released, first we recorded the drums, the demo was supposed to include four tracks but the drummer completely fucked up one of them and we didn't have enough money to record again. By the time we got the drum tracks both the drummer and guitarist quit the band so a whole year goes by as I am trying to find some new members. All my efforts went down the drain so I was disappointed and in late 2020 I asked a friend to help with the guitar recordings so I could release this demo which came out a year later by Fallen Temple records
C.N. - In the same year your demo was also included on the split CD entitled "Satanic Alliance Of The Possessed Sepulchral Necrogoat" released by Worship of Eradication. Can you tell us a little bit more about this split?
N. - The guy who runs the label approached me to join the split with some new material, but I explained to him the situation with all the members quiting so he offered me to use the tracks of our demo for the split and I approved.
C.N. - Blasfemator's split with Sepulcral titled "Bestial Rites Of Morbid Lust" was recently released on cassette via Murder Records. Would you like to tell us a little more about this split?
N. - This split was actually supposed to be with another band from Colombia called Black Pentagram Cult. Unfortunately they were not able to record so I contacted Dante to join with Sepulcral. We were already talking about making a split with Sepulcral and a side project of Blasfemator called Baalhammer but things didn't go as planned. No worries though as the final result is amazing, hails to all the Colombian maniacs!
C.N. - I know you are preparing your next attack of pure hatred to unearth the melodies of death in the new sonic exhumations that are approaching. What do you want to reveal to us about your upcoming release, which will be your first album?
N. - After our separation with the guitarist he took all the tracks written for the album to make another band, so all the possessed Blasfemaniacs out there will have to wait a little longer for a full length under these circumstances.
But I am not willing to give up
C.N. - The sound presented by Blasfemator is raw, wild and musty with the smells of death that fits into the Black Thrash Metal genre. How would you define your sound?
N. - I would describe our sound as bestial black thrash, as our sound is influenced almost exclusively by the first wave of true Black Metal that was forged in South America
C.N. - Now speaking about the themes addressed in your lyrics that address blasphemous themes with alcohol served in the chalices of Satanism and where perverse lust remains very explicit. I would like to ask you to explain and tell us what message you intend to convey with your lyrics?
N. - Our lyrics align with the principles of non theistic Satanism. We present Lucifer as an advocate of liberation from a false morality.
Some tracks are inspired by old stories I've heard about evil mythical creatures in the Greek folklore.
C.N. - We currently live in an era where everything is offensive and where most so-called extreme bands are too concerned with pathetic sentimentality and where they are nothing more than photocopies of each other without even being able to defend their ideals. What is your opinion about this shitty modern Underground that is just another brainwashing of this shitty and idea-poor new generation?
N. - We live in strange times indeed, everyone is divided about where we should draw the line when it comes to artist expression.
To me being offensive just for the sake of it means nothing.
The point is who are you trying to offend and why?
Metal is supposably apolitical as a genre but the sad truth is that a surprising amount of bitch ass Nazis have been infiltrating the scene especially in the 90s with the so called second wave Black Metal, and now all these losers are switching the narrative about being 'extreme' and 'pushing the boundaries' making the new generations forget about the true core of what metal is supposed to be
You ain't evil or offensive vanilla boy, walk out in the streets wearing swastikas and I will smash your teeth
C.N. - The Underground in Greece has always had its own identity and from there emerged and continue to emerge bands and projects faithful to the original ideals of Metal Punk. Could you please tell us a little more about the current Underground movement in Greece and suggest some bands that in your opinion deserve our attention?
N. - The term Metal Punk you brought up gives me a nice advance to talk about the general stance of the band, as well as other bands that I would like to mention
Blasfemator is purely dedicated to the true underground against any form of mainstream culture and profit
I feel closer to the punk ethics and I encourage extreme underground metal bands to stop performing in clubs with their fancy lights and smoke machines, security and ridiculously overpriced tickets.
Instead form inner circles, gather equipment and make illegal free entry gigs without the intention to make cash, just metal for metal
Unless you don't want Black Metal to be THAT dangerous
The metal scene in Greece is pretty much full of posers as usual, with the same wimps playing the same shit in the same spot for the same crowd.
BUT there's also a lot of great metal/punk bands that kick ass and I'm gonna mention a few here:
Mnima, Thromvosis, Necrohammer, Ορυμαγδός, Obscene Evisceration, Φρίκη, Böneyard, Παροξυσμός, Misanthropic Extremity, Swamp.
C.N. - Do you plan on playing live or are these types of social events not part of your plans? If so, what types of events do you plan on playing and what can we expect from Blasfemator on stage?
N. - I'm only interested in playing free entrance gigs, my consciousness can't bare to ask people an X amount of money to see the band perform, when money gets too involved everything is fucked
Now about the performance I believe you can expect an explosion of energy which leads to uncontrollable moshing and demonic manifestations through on stage possessions
C.N. - Before concluding this interview, I would like to ask you what are Blasfemator’s goals and plans for the future?
N. - Find some like minded individuals and get the band running, unleash some new blasphemies, cause total chaos
C.N. - We have reached the end of this infamous interview, but before finishing I would like to thank you for the time you took to answer the questions asked with the aim of making Blasfemator a little better known in the underworld of darkness. Now I intend to leave this space open so that you can declare everything you find relevant and that has not been mentioned or addressed in this interview, as well as thank or tell whoever you want to fuck off.
N. - I want to thank you as well for this great interview, very interesting questions which gave the ability for more paths to be explored.
Now let's move to my favorite part, the FUCK OFF section
FUCK OFF TO ALL THE COMMERCIAL MAINSTREAM BACKSTABBING TRASH TALKING WIMPY SCENE AND ALL THE FAME AND MONEY CRAVING POSERS
FUCK OFF TO FASCISTS AND THEIR SPINELESS DEFENDERS
FUCK OFF TO ALL THE MINDLESS CONSUMERS OF FAST FOOD METAL CULTURE
FUCK OFF TO ALL ORGANIZED RELIGIONS
SUPPORT THE UNDERGROUND WORLD WIDE
TRUE METAL ONLY
