Nekro Cvlt Desecration is a band from the Argentine underworld formed in 2013. They present a perverse sound where the infamous melodies of Black Thrash Metal are duly soaked with blasphemous chaos on the altars of hell to invoke the filthy demons in the rituals of death.
Nekro Cvlt Desecration's impetuous discography includes an album entitled "Nekrosatani Alcoholocausto", an EP entitled "The Psalm Of The Black Goat" and the participation in two splits called "South American Unholy Trinity" and "Revenge Of South American Bestiality". Currently the alcoholic poisons for the band's second album are already fermenting and soon Murder Records will reveal more about the release of the next blasphemous omen that Nekro Cvlt Desecration baptized with the poisonous blood of darkness "Purification In The Witchcraft Flames" and where we can be possessed with the new apocalyptic torments in the upcoming ceremonies of death, so stay tuned.
In the next interview we will talk to Seth Necomancer, a founding member of this demonic legion, where he will reveal a little more about the apocalyptic activities of Nekro Cvlt Desecration. We will begin this literary ceremony so that you can get to know these demons ready to devour your souls and who transported you inside the coffins to the depths of hell.
BLASPHEMIC CHAOS AND SATANIK BLACK THRASH METAL FROM ARGENTINA...
C.N. - HELL-o profane brothers from the bowels of the South American musical underworld. Before I begin this impure interview, I would like to welcome you to the cadaveric cemetery of Cadaveric Noiseletter. To begin, I would like to ask you to introduce us a little more about Nekro Cvlt Desecration and tell us a little more about the origins of the band.
S.N. - Hails from the South American hell, thank you so much for the opportunity to let us spit our blasphemies here. NCD was summoned in 2013 in Venezuela, and since 2018 the horde has been based in Argentina. From the beginning, we've always sought to bring back that archaic '80s sound with influences from old Bathory, Sarcofago, Sextrash, Hellhammer, Venom, Stormwitch, etc.
C.N. - Nekro Cvlt Desecration features several changes to its lineup. Could I ask you to introduce us to the nefarious demons currently spreading cursed chaos in the cold catacombs of hell?
S.N. - The horde current line up:
Seth Nekromancer - vocals, Ereshkigal - bass, Nashgot - guitars and Goat Destruktor - drums.
Over the years, we've had several lineup changes, since in these tough times, it's hard to find true Black Metal Mlitians! So, this lineup has remained stable, and we've been able to fulfill the band's plans.
C.N. - The sound presented by Nekro cult Desecration can be defined in the Thrash Black Metal slopes where we can be completely possessed by diabolical symphonies where chaotic atrocities crush our bones with overwhelming symphonies. I would like to ask you to define the band's sound a little better and what was the reason that led you to choose this musical genre to spread chaos?
S.N. - In those years when the band started there were many bands that released their material super produced and with a sound full of digital improvements, we hate that sound, as followers of Metal from the 80s and 90s we seek to bring back and keep the flame of the analog alive and to be honest the black flag of Nekro Cvlt Desecration is the almighty Bathory of the 80s, our devotion is unbreakable!!!
C.N. - The lyrics of Nekro Cvlt Desecration address themes steeped in alcoholism, duly immersed in chaos and where satanic prophecies are proclaimed with impurity. Would you like to tell us a little more about the message that the band intends to convey with their liturgical rituals?
S.N. - Just as you say, blasphemies will always be present in NCD. We also talk about African and indigenous witchcraft that still survive under the hidden cloak of the roots of the South American continent. We have a great black and blasphemous heritage of dark struggle against everything and everyone.
C.N. - I would like to talk a little more about your discography. In 2016, your debut album was released, entitled "Nekrosatani Alcoholocausto". This album was released in several editions in cassette and CD formats, so I would like to ask you to tell us a little more about this debut album and tell us how it was received in the musical underworld of darkness?
S.N. - That work brought us great challenges and satisfaction with the results, as it was our first introduction to the Metal underworld. It was very well received, resulting in several reissues on CD and Tape. Even today, we continue to write to see if we can reissue it, but we've closed that door for a couple of years now, as we focus on new blasphemies..
C.N. - After a period of stagnation in terms of recordings, Nekro Cvlt Desecration returns to the studio this time to record the EP entitled "The Psalm Of The Black Goat" and which was released in CD format by Destruktor Records. What would you like to tell us about this EP?
S.N. - Yes. There was a seven-year gap between the first album and the EP, The Psalm of the Black Goat. This stagnation in terms of releases was due to several factors. One of the most important was the band's migration from Venezuela to Argentina and the arrival and departure of members, which only slowed us down. As for the music, two new songs were created and a song from the first full-length was re-recorded, and we did a cover. We also included live tracks recorded by a friend who brought a tape recorder to one of our rituals. The artwork for this album was created by Adrian Longinous (Atmopherart), with whom we had worked before. by the way, this EP was also co-released by Evil Damnations Records (Spain) and Morbillus Records (Bolivia).
C.N. - It was still the year 2023 when the split entitled "South American Unholy Trinity" was released, in which you shared with Thy Dominion from Uruguay and Vulvacult from Argentina the blasphemous profanation of infernal chaos on a CD edition released by Herrecords? What do you want to tell us about this split?
S.N. - (Seth Nekromancer) Since I was in Venezuela, I knew the work of Thy Dominion, one of the first bands to make black metal in Uruguay and I had contact with them so once we talked about conspiring together in a split we decided to invite a third band and this was Vulva Cult, the art for this split had been created by Katiuska from Temple of the Kalight for Nekro Cvlt Desecration but we decided to leave it for the split, on the other hand the conspiracy was delayed for almost a year so it came out let's say out of time, this was due to problems with delivery times from the factory in Peru where the split was sent to be manufactured.
C.N. - At the end of 2024 the band returns to the studio this time to record the impure anthems that would be released on CD by Metal Command Records in the split entitled "Revenge of South American Bestiality" with the Brazilians Blasphemaniac. This is your most recent work so I would like to ask you to tell us more about this split?
S.N. - For this work we were contacted by the Argentinian label Metal Command since they had a split pending to release and they wanted it to be a Black Thrash band. For this split they had in mind several Argentinian bands but when Metal Command sent Blasphemaniac some of our previous works they happily accepted that we would be on the split with them and since then a great brotherhood has been born with the demons of Brazil under the entity called Blasphemaniac. As for this split, it has had a very good reception and from what we know, it has reached several countries!
C.N. - Now that we have finished dissecting your discography, I would like to talk about what is to come. I know that the band has the second album ready and that it will be released in 2025, I would like to ask you to tell us a little more about what we can expect from this new work that will be entitled "Purification In The Witchcraft Flames". What are your plans and what can you reveal to us about the release of this next album?
S.N. - This album shows the most mature side of the horde, consolidating a strong, direct, analog sound, but we were more careful with the aspect of the guitar solos, sounds of the instruments trying to leave them as natural as possible, adding again rototons in the drums to give greater ancient depth to the sonic spectrum, as for the music you will find traces of the Satanic Heavy of the 80s to the most chaotic of South American Black Metal with that latent reek of Blackened Thrash Metal. The album handles a concept about ancient witchcraft rites and the work of capturing all the blasphemies, curses and invocations to black entities was left in the hands of Darkpen Illustration from Brazil, whom we met through the cover of the split with Blasphemaniac. With this work we want to reach all the cursed corners of the underground where they delight in our Satanic Black Thrash !!!
C.N. - Is it important for you to play live and do you intend to play everywhere even if you have to mix with bands that have nothing to do with your essence or are you more selective in the concerts and festivals where you intend to play? How important is it to you to perform concerts and festivals especially when you play for people who don't even know what they are seeing and hearing?
S.N. - Yes, we are selective, although not in the strictest sense of the word. We try to ritualize with bands that are similar to us. We always try to avoid those festivals or dates where there is everything and in that mishmash the essence is lost... playing for people who don't know what Black or blackened Thrash is is a complete waste of time.
C.N. - Nekro Cvlt Desecration is also a band that has been playing live and that presents a devilish energy in their live appearances. How would you describe it and what can we expect from Nekro Cvlt Desecration's presence on stage?
S.N. - We are what you see in the photos and videos. We attack with force and we like to unleash chaos on the stage, spitting out our Blasphemies and feeding off the dark energies of those present!
C.N. - We live in an era full of complexes, where everything is offensive and where the extreme Underground has finally managed to assert its identity where the weak and the sentimentalists neither survive nor fit in. South America has always been and will always be a profane cradle where musical extremism asserts itself in a very explicit way, so I would like to ask you how do you see the Extreme Underground today?
S.N. - just as you say, we live in times of crystal, anything offensive is forbidden and hate must be exterminated but fuck all those prohibitions, we have a heritage of war and magical darkness in south america, in Nekro Cvlt Desecration we attack with our radical stance, many current bands have allowed themselves to be tamed just to gain acceptance and likes.. fuck them, we attack everyone, politicians, religious people, moralists, we burn them all at the stake, our hate feeds us and makes us stronger!! for us it is a source of pride to find bands and people along the way who continue to militate in the underground with an iron footing with their radical ideology intact, the underground is about that, true militancy in times where many sell out and others are just impostors!!
C.N. - I know you're also a resister who keeps active in the literary arts with your Necromamcy Fanzine. Would you like to tell us a little more about that and tell us what keeps you active with writing?
S.N. - (Seth Nekromancr) Necromancy Fanzine was invoked in the same year that the entity Nekro Cvlt Desecration emerged from the abyss. I remember those days when disgust consumed me because everything I read on the "metal-specialized" portals only said empty words, interviews without delving into the bowels of the bands and their history, so I set about the task of creating a fanzine that would give space to Black Metal bands from the South American underground. Although the fanzine has not released a new edition for some time, I continue writing and collaborating, doing reviews or interviews for various printed fanzines and serious extreme metal portals, waiting for when it's time to launch a new attack from my fanzine!! Underground never sleeps.
C.N. - For those who don't know the extreme musical underworld in Argentina, I would like to ask you to tell us a little more about how things are going there and to tell us about the projects that you think are relevant and that remain faithful to keeping the black flag of the Underground raised?
S.N. - Argentina is the land of Heavy Metal, there's no doubt about it, but it has had a varied, extreme history with emblematic bands and others that only deserve contempt for simply seeking 15 minutes of fame and opening their asses selling their music and paying to play with international bands. But as happens all over the world, there's a surface where these fakers gloat, and there's the underground where the true militants and bands are. Since NCD arrived in Argentina, it has always been underground, and we've had the pleasure of being able to take our Nekro Metal to other countries.
C.N. - Before finishing this interview I would like to ask you what are your goals and plans for the future of Nekro Cvlt Desecration?
S.N. - Right now we are closing deals for the release of our second album and we are starting to compose the songs for a third opus that we hope to release in early 2026. In the next few days we will be releasing a new official video and we are waiting for confirmation to play in Chile and Brazil.
C.N. - We have reached the end of this filthy interview and before finishing I would like to thank you for the time you took to answer this interview with the aim of making Nekro Cvlt Desecration a little better known in this musical graveyard. Now I intend to leave this grave open so that you can declare anything you find relevant and that has not been addressed in this interview as well as you can thank or tell whoever you want to fuck off.
S.N. - Once again, thank you very much for this interview. We send a huge greeting to all the readers of this necrotic papyrus. Keep the flame of the true underground burning by consuming Satanic Metal, and let the alcohol and chaos flow for all of you!
Interview made by Danihell Slaughter.
