I don't feel any need or obligation to introduce you to the Italian project called Burn The Throne, the next interview will speak for itself and so I won't be here with many words in this introduction.

I must say that I finally find someone who can expose his ideologies in a transparent way and where there is no need to please anyone in this filthy humanity full of absolutely indispensable creatures...

Let's now move on to the interview with Burn The Throne where Anaboth will simply expose his extremist views and honestly finally I found someone even more extremist than myself and that's a good thing, because now I no longer feel alone telling you to fuck off everyone without any complexes, after all there are still some out there with the same hatred running through their veins and spitting pure hatred without mercy...

If you are a hothouse flower and if you like to please everyone and everything, this interview is definitely not for you so I suggest you go read some other shit...

HERE YOU ONLY FIND TOTAL CHAOS, SUPREME DEATH AND A COMPLETE FUCK OFF AND DIE...

C.N. - Hell-o Infamous brothers from the deepest darkness of the Underground where sonic chaos reigns, before starting this damned interview I would like to welcome you to this omnious darkness from the cadaveric underworld where only few can penetrate and remain. To begin with, I would like to ask you to introduce us a little more about Burn the Throne and tell us how this project emerged?
ANABOTH - This is the Anaboth speaking: There is nothing to say, everything that is to know is and will be communicated through our channels, to which I refer your readers who may be interested. These channels are the usual ones used by everyone, IG, Bandcamp and something else. And when I say everyone I really mean everyone, this should make you think about how useless and wrong or simply old-fashioned it is to talk about underground nowadays.

C.N. - Burn the Throne is formed by two damned creatures from the catacunbs and pioneers in the origins of the extreme Italian Underground. I would like to ask you to introduce us to the filthy demons that spread misanthropic chaos with this project recently born from the ashes of the Underground crematoriums?
ANABOTH - I speak after my personal experience, even if I consider it useless and stupid to talk about the past especially about bands formed by kids. I am mainly looking to the future, both in terms of performance and according to an eschatological vision. I started playing black metal in 1991 when I was 17 and by the time I made 2 demos I had already gotten fed up with the sterility of the genre, the stupidity of Satanism, the ideological emptiness and the genre itself. This was my fortune because I was free to explore forms of expression much more in line with my nature than a musical genre, that is only good in youth or as a response to a deep immaturity in adulthood. BTT was born by chance following what we could define as a reunion. Talking about misanthropy in the context of music is an insult to true misanthropes who, I am sure, do not waste time publishing music, reviewing it or answering interviews.

C.N. - Now, let's talk a little more about your sound, which is presented in a very raw and violent way, covering genres such as Black Metal Noise and where we can find your primitive influences in Grindcore and Punk. How would you define your extremely dirty and anarchist sound?
ANABOTH - Exactly as you said, black noise/punk/grindcore. When you use too many words to describe something as simple and natural as music, you take away the meaning of the music itself which, by definition, is already communication. I'm not a big fan of the rhetorical verbosity that sickens a certain type of metal making things more pompous than they are. The album and future works speak for themselves. And it's not even sure that BTT will not explore different genres even in antithesis to each other. This first album is just one of the pieces.

C.N. - Recently, more precisely in December 2024, you presented your debut album entitled "Homogenous Homicidal Action" and which was released in CD format by the Finnish label Bestial Burst, do you want to tell us a little more about this debut album?
ANABOTH - It was recorded in a few hours, without rehearsals and without overdubs. There are no particular anecdotes or curiosities about it. Making the second one will be extremely more complicated because I hate repetitions and the stasis typical of a genre like extreme metal.

C.N. - Although the themes you chose for your first album, as well as the titles of your songs, may seem like a War Metal band, I know that you do not define yourselves or intend to fit into that category. Can you talk a little more about the apocalyptic themes you intend to address with your sonic chaos?
ANABOTH - There is nothing revelatory, in the etymological sense of apocalypse. The lyrics are not widespread and are intentionally not understood thanks to the vocal style. The titles were developed by me based on an aesthetic, which is the most important aspect of this genre, exactly like any other metal project, whether they are aware of it or not. I am not interested in choosing a category, nor to know in which category others decide to place this project.

C.N. - Now that we know a little more about your ideologies that allow you to proclaim death with chaos and sonic filth, I would like to ask which bands contribute in some way and that you consider important as being your musical influences?
ANABOTH - There is no ideology, it is just music so nothing but the taste for music itself. Ideologies are propagated through far more invasive means, rather than a CD printed in a few hundred copies. The existential extremism created by an ideology can never be poured into a few minutes of music, but into the choice of lines of existence that I personally followed, but this is outside the topic of this interview.

C.N. - We currently live in an era where everything is offensive and where most so-called extreme bands are too concerned with pathetic sentimentalism and where they are nothing more than photocopies of each other without even being able to defend their ideals, ending up being part of hypocritical flocks where there is everything but an ridiculous essence and that has nothing that we can define as pure Extreme Underground? What is your opinion about this shitty modern Underground?
ANABOTH - See answer 8

What is your opinion about this shitty modern Underground that is more a brain wash of this new undershit generation?
ANABOTH - This question is identical to the previous one. Honestly I saw the same percentage of morons in the early 90s, maybe even worse. Brain washed? Everyone makes the music they want, in the worst case scenario I ignore it. The world fortunately changes continuously. The "things were better before" is the quintessence of stupidity and if you think that in the first black metal there was more quality well, maybe it would be the case to listen again without nostalgia to that ton of shit. If we then want to broaden the discussion to an extra-musical sphere I appreciate the rock-solidity and intransigence of certain fringes of Christianity and Islam, certain independentist political movements and all those who decide to truly live outside of a system. Talking about a "brainwashed generation" paying rent, working, having a bank account is hypocritical. The worst generation is that of those who, young in the 90s and with all the means to hack the system, did not do it.

C.N. - I know that you are locked in the infernal abysses, preparing your next attack of pure sonic hatred to awaken the true prophets of chaos with the repudiatory declaration that you intend to present with the second antisocial manifesto. What can you tell us or do you want to reveal about your next album that will be released during this year?
ANABOTH - If it were antisocial I wouldn't even bother answering these questions. anyone who has a website, an IG account, and prints their own stuff calling themselves antisocial has some analysis problems and a flaw in their reasoning. The second album has yet to be recorded and until we press the Record button we don't know what will come out of it.

C.N. - The Italian musical underworld has always been a reference for the extreme Underground from which very interesting projects emerge, so I would like to ask you to indicate some bands that have contributed to keeping the true essence of the Italian Underground alive. Which bands would you like to suggest?
ANABOTH - None in the metal field. The so-called Italian scene is simply overrated, today as it was 30 years ago. Italy has its peaks in other genres, such as hip hop or electronic music, from the first industrial to today's techno/raver scene. The underground died when the internet was born, fortunately. Those who continue to use this term have not taken into account the historical period we are living in, which I personally appreciate for the opportunities for redemption it offers.

C.N. - Do you intend to play live or are these types of social events not part of your plans? If so, what types of events do you intend to play and what can we expect from Burn the Throne's presence on stage? Total destruction with atomic sound bombs that no one will survive or is simply playing live a waste of time especially when bands play for people who don't even know what they are seeing or doing there?
ANABOTH - To play live? In order to see a horde of fat drunks who don't even know they're in the world? For God’s sake, NO. I hate nostalgic gatherings, I detest the alcohol that usually flows freely in certain environments and it makes me feel sorry to see happy people who after a few hours of sleep go back to punching the clock.

C.N. - Before finishing this interview I would like to ask you what are your goals and plans for the future of Burn the Throne?
ANABOTH - Precisely because of the naturalness of the project it is impossible to make predictions or have a precise plan.

C.N. - We have reached the end of this filthy interview and before finishing I would like to thank you for the time you took to answer this interview with the aim of making Burn The Throne a little better known. Now I intend to leave this space open so that you can declare anything you find relevant and that has not been addressed in this interview as well as you can thank or tell whoever you want to fuck off.
ANABOTH - Silence, silence is the language of God.
