Marking 25 years of death/grinding filth and depravity, "Shit Feasts, Meth Priests, Violent Thugs, Designer Drugs" is the second album (LP) in EMETICA’s relatively long history.
Since their inception in late 2000, the band has endured countless ups and downs, multiple hiatuses, and challenges.
Against all odds, this release stands as a testament to perseverance, grinding, and a dedication to sickness.
Out now on Necro Records, this LP delivers a catchy, grinding, d-beaten, old-school death metal assault. Fans of ANAL BLAST, MORTICIAN, CARCASS, recent NAPALM DEATH, SINISTER, and GOREROTTED should dive headfirst into this cesspool of filth. Expect short, slimy bursts of fury, guttural growls, and unhinged screams.
A total of 13 songs with about 23 minutes of guttural are certain to keep a metalhead, a death metal freak, or a sick gore metal enthusiast entertained. On the top of that, the cover of MORTICIAN’s "Three on a Meathook" is a gory cherry on a mutilated cake.
Born from the raw, punk-infused, death-laced grindcore of 2001, EMETICA evolved through Relapse-style manic outbursts (2003-2005), during which they shared the stage with MALIGNANT TUMOR, MASS GENOCIDE PROCESS, and CONTAINER CRUSTIES FROM HELL, among countless local acts. Lyrically, their music has always explored the depths of human depravity through razor-sharp satire.
Following a long hiatus (2005-2012), a new lineup emerged, bringing EMETICA back to the stage alongside EXHUMED, ARCHAGATHUS, SIX BREW BANTHA, and others.
