Born out of frustration, fueled by irony and spewed straight into the underground, Bode Velho is not a band, it's an outpouring of anger distilled into distortion. The project came about when a guy decided he'd had enough of everything and that the only way to deal with existence was to turn it into dirty riffs, exploding drums and lyrics that make no apologies for anything.
With no fuss, no pose and no patience for bullshit, Bode Velho spits out a sound that wanders between Grindcore and Crust Punk, without worrying about labels or purisms. The only rule? To sound like society is falling apart around them - because, let's be honest, it is.
Their first EP, “Paus e Pedras”, is a punch in the face for conformists. Recorded with guitars that have seen better days and a spirit that refuses to die, this release is the soundtrack to collapse. If you like your music loud, fast and blunt, you're in the right place. If you don't... tough luck, because this isn't designed to please.
Welcome to the cult of the Old Goat. Close the door on your way out.
