"Gloomy Dreams" is the second album by the young Russian band. It is clear that they are not afraid to experiment in their search for themselves, their style, and their sound. The 12 atmospheric tracks presented on this album are played at the crossroads of Gothic, Black, and Doom Metal. This dark blend is often more succinctly referred to as Dark Metal. Therefore, the album can be defined as a classic example of Dark Metal. It features downtuned guitars in places and rich, abundant bass lines. The musicians aim to transport the listener into a world of grim fairy tales, legends, epics, and myths, full of magical spirits and demons. And it is clear that they succeed in this endeavor. Conceptually, everything is framed as the nightmarish visions that haunt a child through the night—one nightmare follows another, from the moment of falling asleep to the first light of dawn... And no, unfortunately, not until the eyes open, filled with tears and despair, but until those eyes remain forever shut with the arrival of the first morning star. It is a story about how strong, and sometimes even deadly, our childhood emotions and fears can be. The album calls upon the forgotten and hidden fears buried deep within the subconscious. The powerful, dense sound intensifies this effect, paving the way into our subconscious mind.
