Leep from Berlin have caught me musically and personally right from the first moment we meet. About two years ago we played together in Dresden. A friend had highly recommended me that band before, so i was keen to see them and that night we talked a lot and decided to release this record together. It took some time, some new people have entered this world in the meantime, but finally we have it now and i couldn't be more happier about it.
I am still touched by their melancholy and dark and somber atmosphere. Quiet and moderate in parts, a little tricky and mathy, spoken words- then bursting into desperation and noise. Someone called it 90s Post-Hardcore. I hear a little Yage.... but not sure if it gets it right though... Anyway: In my eyes and ears, a wonderful and perfect addition to the label.
