In the 2000s, the Italian anarcho-punk scene had a season of great enthusiasm and excitement: new generations began to listen to punk and new bands formed. Among these new bands, one stood out for its originality and charisma: Pioggia Nera from Pavia, a depressive town south of Milan.
Their shows were memorable and their songs immediately got stuck in your head. The band's sound took inspiration from the tradition of Italian HC punk of the 80s, in particular from its darker declination (Nerorgasmo and Wretched above all).
The parable of Pioggia Nera, studded with excesses, problems with the law, changes in the lineup, was unfortunately short and fragmented; despite this, they produced a demo and a couple of albums and played a handful of concerts, mainly in northern Italy.
This cassette offers the complete discography of the band: we hope that young punks discover Pioggia Nera's music and fall in love with it as we did!
